The Music of Poetry

I have been asked on numerous occasions, what poetry means to me. I write in many different styles and each work of art or my creations as I call them, reflex the mood I am in. Nonetheless, each poem is also a part of me and often reflect a hidden part of my heart. Poets often express them selves in many ways! When I choose to sit down and write one of my beautiful collections, I often do it without thinking or preplanned expectations.










Some emotions remain hidden deep within the words of my poems and surface slowly as each verse is slowly recorded in the verses, which form. Each verse becomes a gem in the rough, waiting to be polished into a diamond.

Writing poetry has allowed me to reveal parts of me, which few rarely get to see. The words become yet another part of my soul, which I choose to share with yet another.

What time of day do you choose to write your poems? The list of questions is often like that of an never ending stream, which bubbles along the twist and turns of my busy life.

The words that end up on the paper, often come from deep within the far reaches of my mind and more then often, the emotions running wild inside my heart. I am not sure how else to explain it to others, except in stating that each word, each verse, paints to those which read my creations, yet another small hidden part of that which makes the man.
